We are open 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8.30 am until 1pm.
Outside these times, and on bank holidays, if you need veterinary assistance, please phone us on the normal number and we will direct you to the Chelvets team.
Overnight care at Folly Gardens:
From time to time it might be necessary for your pet to stay overnight at the vets. We understand this can be stressful time for owners and their pets. In order to offer excellent service throughout the day and night, we use a dedicated out of hours provider. We have worked alongside the wonderful team at ‘Chelvets’ for many years and feel they provide an excellent ‘home from home’ for our patients.
Deciding where your pet will stay overnight:
For patients requiring boarding only it may be appropriate for patients to stay overnight at Folly gardens. For example whilst waiting for a routine surgery such as neutering or patients that are well and hospitalised for medicating only. THIS is on the strict proviso that owners/carers are aware that the building will not be supervised overnight, and a consent form signed to that effect.
Patients requiring overnight nursing and veterinary supervision or those who are unwell in any way will be transferred to Chelvets, our out of hours provider. This transfer to Chelvets will generally be provided by Folly Gardens, and in occasional circumstances, where appropriate the animals’ owner.
