Fat-boy-Jim’s progress report…
We are now a week in and it was time to weight out the next weeks rations and reflect. We’re getting into a routine now of sharing out Jim’s daily allowance into three meals and putting them into his ball to slow his eating and make him move. We’ve also had to make sure it’s small meals because if Jim leaves any Rosie is straight in there; who’d have thought diet food is so tasty!
Rosie is getting to grips with her Surefeed microchip reading electric food bowl and can now have high calorie food through the the day, poor Jim however cannot understand why the feeder won’t open for him.
We still need to work on the play thing but we’ll get there I’m sure. At least Jim is now quite active with his food ball three times a day.
It has been a learning curve for us all and we’re keeping our fingers and paws crossed for our first weight in on Wednesday.
