Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy helps injured or arthritic pets get back on their feet again. A number of techniques are often applied during a physiotherapy session which include gait analysis, muscle and joint assessment, massage, gentle manipulation, laser therapy, ultrasound therapy. Physiotherapy requires team effort and as the pet's owner, you will be required to perform some "homework" stability and strength building exercises with your pet.

When physiotherapy is combined with acupuncture, the effect is synergistic. Owners are often surprised at both the rapidity and degree of improvement when these two treatments are combined.

Referral to a qualified and registered animal physiotherapist is through your vet.
